Foster Friends is a series of children’s books designed to help the foster parent assist their children in understanding the different reasons children come into foster care. In an entertaining and easy to understand format the children will see that there is hope for their future and that their dreams are important. The author’s desire is to communicate hope and understanding to children who are placed in foster homes. |

Author/Publisher
Susan Plumer is an experienced Social Worker. She was born in Independence, Missouri and graduated from Lincoln University, Jefferson City, Mo. in 1982. She was a military wife for twenty years and is a proud mother of two sons and one daughter in-law. Susan was motivated to write these stories by the young foster children on her case load who just didn’t understand what was happening to them.
